Same Glitches From AT&T and Apple

Customers who have queued up for ages in an attempt to snag the latest iPhone 3G are mad. They are mad that stores do not have enough stocks to go around and they are mad that if they are lucky enough to buy the iPhone 3G, some had to buy the cheaper 8G iPhone or of a different colour that they wanted, they had trouble activating the iPhone.

This year, all new iPhone 3G buyers are required to activate their iPhone in-store in a bid to stop hackers from hacking and breaking iPhone but after 10am, customers were told that they could do so at home via iTunes.

However, many people who tried to do so have an error message returned, basically because the server of iTunes went down because of the massive load of activating new iPhone 3G AND updating the software of iPhones of the first generation.
