iTunes University

iTunes has opened a university. Well, not in the REAL sense like eBay University.

iTunes U is actually a large knowledge pool incorporated into iTunes Store where you could access free university lectures, language lessons, audio books and other audio files, video files and other educational material FREE which you could sync to your iPhone. Of course, you could also sync to your iPod, MAC or PC but let’s just focus on the iPhone here.

Right now, iTunes U has more than 50,000 files from top universities around the world, museums and other public media organizations. Grab them and learn on the go. Oh yes, I believe one must have an iTunes account to be able to download these files but I may be wrong. No harm trying, though!

Copy & Paste Coming To iPhone

Application developer, Proximi, has developed a new application for the iPhone called MagicPad which has the ability to Copy & Paste strings of text, something that has been sorely missing from the iPhone that we know it now.

The down side is that MagicPad is like the Notes application and the Copy & Paste feature could only be used on MagicPad locally. Text that has been copied could not be transported to another application like an email, Safari browser or SMS message, from what I understand.

AppleiPhoneNotes.com has shot the following video in anticipation of the MagicPad application receiving the final approval from Apple.
